Experimental

I experimented with Image layering techniques, and decided to expand the concept further by allowing the representation of the flower to correspond with the personality of the women that I photographed. 

 

This project was interesting, as I got to know the women for who they were outside of a formal environment. They were really inspiring and keen on the idea of what I wanted to do for the project. 

 

When it came to chosing the flowers for the different women, I not only had to consider the seasonal considerations of what was in bloom for the time of the projecct, but also how visual intriguing they would be for the imagery.

For further experimentation, I also worked in the darkroom using black and white film, to see how digital and traditional film negative compare with the against each other. 

​

I have been thinking about carrying out this project through the up-coming summer, although expanding the position for using males as well as females.
