Body

The body has always been a interesting concept to me, if the lighting has hit it in a way that is visually compelling. The average selfie to me it not seen as art. When you see influencers on instagram flaunting themselves in bikini shots with their bums out and men taking mirror shots showing off their post-gym workout. Its self flattery, which is not a bad thing if it makes you feel confident; but when it come to photography, personally I see the body in a different way to others. I want to expose the beauty of the figure by highlighting the crevasse, the imperfections and the obscurities. Manipulating the lighting to display the beauty of being unique in figure from head-to-toe.
